Panel Applications

Panels and events are the core of any convention and we would love to hear what you’re passionate about! Whether its a deep dive into MLP lore, a demonstration of creative skills, a trip back through fandom history or anything you feel may interest our community we want to hear your ideas!

What We’re Looking For

Panels come in all shapes and sizes – from academic talks to fun games and activities, the only limit is your imagination! We’ve had a huge variety of panel types in the past including a look at the History of MLP, learning fun facts about the Equestrian Rail System, a look at Horses in Animation and multiple quizzes and games.

Important Details

When: Saturday and Sunday of the convention
Applications: Rolling approval (allow up to 2 weeks for response – if you have not heard from us please shoot us an email to follow up!)
Deadline: 31st January 2027
Backup panels: If slots fill up, we’ll keep a backup list in case someone drops out! We will offer slots first come-first served. All backup panel slots will be confirmed by 15th February 2027

Please only apply if you’re attending the convention. While we can accommodate some virtual panels, we have very limited capacity for remote presentations. If you can’t attend in person or need to cancel, let us know ASAP so we can arrange alternatives.

All panels must follow our convention rules and code of conduct.

Describe the premise of your panel
What kind of equipment will you need? What’s provided: All panel rooms have large screen TVs with speakers. Main Stage panels also get microphones (classroom panels don’t need them due to room size). Laptops: We have one available on a first-come, first-served basis, but we can’t guarantee it’ll be free when you need it. Your content: Please bring your presentation on a USB drive, email it to us beforehand, or share via Google Drive as backup. All screens in rooms have HDMI cables and can be plugged directly into a laptop with a suitable port. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE INTERNET SO MAKE SURE WORK IS SAVED. Additional equipment: We don’t purchase extra equipment, props, or prizes for panels. If you need something specific, we’ll try to help source it depending on what’s required, but no promises!
