Cosplay Contest

Calling all Cosplayers!

Get ready to unleash your creativity because our Cosplay Contest is back for 2024! It’s time to showcase your incredible costumes and embody your favorite characters with flair. Whether you’re a cosplay pro or just starting out, everyone is welcome to join the fun – we welcome all fandom cosplays, not just our Pony friends! Feeling more like a Spiderman day than a Fluttershy one? No problem, rock that Spiderman suit!

But that’s not all – we’re not just bringing you an amazing contest. Picture this: a Cosplayers Lounge where you can chill with fellow fans, munch on snacks, and hydrate with refreshing water. Need a breather or a costume change? We’ve got you covered! Store your bulky costume bags and props in our lounge when they’re not stealing the spotlight.

We look forward to seeing all of your amazing costumes!

Cosplay Rules

Please refrain from wearing costumes that are excessively revealing. Aim for coverage similar to your average swimwear. If your outfit is delicate, take precautions to avoid unintentional exposure.

For those donning large costumes or outfits with limited visibility, it’s essential to have a designated handler with you at all times to serve as a guide.

Adequate ventilation is crucial for large, bulky, or fur-lined suits. Ensure your costume allows for proper airflow. Take regular breaks if required.

Check for any sharp edges on your costume to prevent accidental injuries.

Offensive cosplays are not allowed. If you have concerns about the appropriateness of your cosplay, reach out to us in advance for approval.

A reminder to all: Cosplay Is Not Consent

Respect Personal Boundaries:
Always be mindful of personal space and boundaries when interacting with cosplayers. Costumes are not an invitation for physical contact or intrusive behavior. Obtain explicit permission before touching a cosplayer or their props.

Obtain Consent for Photography:
Cosplayers put a lot of effort into their costumes and many are happy to have their pictures taken, sometimes even alongside you. However, always seek permission before photographing or recording a cosplayer, especially in settings where it might not be expected, like outside a performance or parade. Respect their decision, and honor any specific requests they may have, such as posing preferences.

Use Appropriate Language and Behavior:
Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere by choosing respectful language and avoiding offensive or derogatory comments. Treat cosplayers and fellow attendees with kindness, understanding, and appreciation for their passion and creativity. Remember, we’re all here to enjoy ourselves and all cosplayers are attendees just like you!

Report Harassment or Inappropriate Behavior:
If you witness or experience any form of harassment, inappropriate behavior, or boundary violation, report it immediately to event staff or security personnel. Ensuring a safe environment for all attendees is our top priority, and your assistance is crucial in addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
