Opening Ceremony Animations

Starting in 2023, Festival of Friendship has featured custom animated segments as part of our Opening Ceremony, showcasing the adventures of our beloved convention mascot, Regina! These animations have become a cherished tradition, setting the tone for each year’s convention and giving attendees a delightful glimpse into Regina’s ever-expanding world of adventures. Each year brings a new chapter in Regina’s story, taking her to exciting new locations and on thrilling adventures!

Our animations are more than just opening ceremony entertainment – they represent the collaborative spirit of the MLP fan community. From solo projects by talented individuals like Fishie Wishes to community-wide collaborations like our 2025 MAP, these animations showcase the incredible creativity and passion of our attendees and contributors.
